This historic cemetery in Munford had its beginnings on a family farm in 1920. Helen Rogers Crigger, not quite 15 years old, died from a serious illness. The grieving Crigger family buried her on their own land, honoring her memory with the beautiful statue of an angel pointing skyward. In the years that followed, other members of the Crigger family were buried nearby and the land eventually became the last resting place of many other families in the tightly knit community.
Today, the Helen Crigger Cemetery is owned and managed by Munford Funeral Home, and lots are still available.
